There’s something special about Saturday mornings at the Kāpiti Market 💛 The smell of fresh coffee in the air, live music drifting through the stalls, baskets filling with fresh produce, and friendly faces everywhere you turn. This weekend is shaping up to be another beautiful market day — and we can’t wait to see you there!

🎶 This week’s music is from the talented Henare Parker — the perfect soundtrack for your morning wander through the market. Grab a coffee, find a sunny spot, and enjoy some great local music while you shop ☕🎵

This weekend is your LAST chance to grab those warm and cosy alpaca clothing pieces for winter! If you’ve been thinking about picking up soft alpaca scarves, beanies, or winter layers — now’s the time. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

🌱 We’re also excited to welcome back Eileen with her amazing seedlings! Whether you’re planting veggies, herbs, or flowers, Eileen always has healthy seedlings and plenty of helpful advice for your garden 🌿🌼

🏺 And yes — James is back with his beautiful pottery! His handcrafted pieces are always popular and make the perfect gift (or treat for yourself 😉). Expect lovely mugs, bowls, and unique creations made with care and creativity.

💛 A Special Farewell to Norm & Gwen 💛

It is with a sad heart that we say goodbye to two very special people from our market family — Norm & Gwen, our wonderful garden gnome couple 🏡🌿

After many, many years of faithfully coming to the markets rain ☔ or shine ☀️, they have finally decided it’s time to retire and enjoy a well-deserved rest ❤️

Their smiling faces, beautiful garden gnomes, and friendly chats will truly be missed by us all. They have been such a big part of our market community for so long, and it just won’t feel quite the same without them.

Thank you Norm & Gwen for your dedication, support, laughter, and for being part of our market whānau for all these years 💐

We wish you both all the happiness, relaxation, and adventures ahead in your retirement 🌸🍃

🚒 The Fire Truck will also be back raising funds for Blood Cancer — so come along and show your support for a great cause ❤️

You’ll still find all your favourite regular stall holders there, along with plenty of fresh goodies and local treats 🥕🍯🥚

Please note:
🌱 Eileen and her lovely seedlings (normally down the beach end) is away this weekend due to low stock.
🌻 Karen with her organic honey, flowers & veggies is also away this week.

Saturday 2nd April, 7:30am – and WOW 😍 the Kāpiti Market was already buzzing with life! 🌅☀️

There’s just something magical about getting there early… the golden sunrise 🌄, the smell of fresh baking 🍩🥐 floating through the air, and stallholders setting up with big smiles 😊🙌

From artisan sea salts 🧂 to sweet homemade treats 🍪 (those custard squares though 🤤🔥), colourful clothing 👗🧥, handmade treasures 🎨🛍️, and fresh produce 🥕🍎 – every corner had something exciting to discover!

🎉🌿 OI OI OI… Kapiti Market is BACK baby!! 🌿🎉

Did you survive the long weekend… or are you still recovering? 😴🍔🍻 Either way — no more excuses, it’s time to get out of the house and back to the MARKET!

The boys have dusted themselves off, had a good feed, maybe one too many naps 😅… and now they are FULLY CHARGED 🔋 and ready to roll again this weekend! 💪🔥

🎤✨ AND we’ve got the absolute gem **Tui** joining us — smooth tunes, good vibes, and just enough magic to make you forget you said “I’ll only stay 10 minutes” 😉🎶

🌱 Now… about **Seedlings**… you lot cleaned her OUT 😳👏
She’s taking a well-earned break (aka scrambling to restock 😅), but don’t worry — she’ll be back and we’ll let you know when!

🛍️💛 The rest of our legendary stallholders are lining up and ready to go… well… that’s the plan anyway 😂
Because let’s be honest — markets are a bit like the weather 🌦️

👉 some might pop up
