Nau mai, haere mai! Come on down to the Kāpiti Market this Saturday for another awesome morning by the beach! 🙌☀️

We’ve got a FULL HOUSE this weekend — all our stallholders are coming! 🥳 So bring your whānau, bring your mates and definitely bring your appetite!

🥓 AND THEY’RE BACK! Our lovely ladies will have the BBQ fired up with their sausage sizzle AND bacon & egg sammies! 🤤 Come hungry… because the smell alone will probably get you before you’ve even made it around the market! 😂

🎉 THIS SATURDAY AT THE KĀPITI MARKET! 🎉

We have a fantastic morning lined up, with the talented Henare bringing the tunes and keeping us entertained! 🎤🎶

All our wonderful stallholders are expected to be there, so come hungry and ready to shop! You’ll find fresh produce, delicious food, homemade baking, crafts and plenty of local goodies.

🌶️ Great news—Korowai is back with his tasty chilli sauce! Whether you like a gentle kick or something that makes your eyes water, make sure you stop by and grab a bottle. 🔥😂

And ohhh no… things might get a little political this Saturday! 😆 The Labour Party and Green Party will both be joining us—but don’t worry, the biggest debate at the market will still be chilli sauce or sweet treats? 🌶️🧁

☀️ The weather is looking sunny with a high of 15°C. But if the forecast changes, don’t let that stop you—it never stops our dedicated stallholders! Rain or shine, they’ll be ready to welcome you. 🌦️💪

We’re thrilled to welcome Tui and her amazing voice back to entertain us! Grab something tasty, wander through the stalls and enjoy some fantastic live music while you shop. 🎤💃

🕯️ Leo will also be joining us with an assortment of candles as part of his fundraiser. Come along, find a lovely candle and support a great cause at the same time!

🐾 EGLE POOCH IS BACK! 🐾

Our four-legged market visitors haven’t been forgotten! Egle Pooch will be back with goodies for your precious pooches. 🐶

🎉 Kāpiti Market is Back This Weekend! 🎉

First, apologies for going missing from your newsfeed—it’s been ridiculously busy! But I’m back, slightly frazzled and ready to tell you what’s happening at the market. 😅

Before we get into the goodies, we want to wish Steve, one of our fantastic organisers, a very happy birthday! 🥳 We hope your market day is awesome, Steve—and that nobody makes you share your birthday cake!

🎶 Who’s playing music this weekend? Good question! We’re keeping you in suspense… mostly because we’re waiting to see too. 😂

☀️ The weather is meant to be nice, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see—it does like to change its mind during the night while everyone is sleeping! Very sneaky, Kāpiti weather. 😂

Come hungry, because we have enough food to make your waistband nervous:

Emily from PC will be doing some fundraising, the NZ Labour Party will also be there, and Dahlia will have delicious fundraising cookies. Remember: calories consumed for a good cause don’t count. 🍪

Out the back, you’ll find our usual veggie trucks and Wati with his fresh eggs—because after all those donuts and cookies, buying vegetables makes everything balanced! 🥦🥕🥚

☀️ What a beautiful Saturday at the Kāpiti Market! ☀️

After all the cold and wet weather lately, it was wonderful to see the blue sky, sunshine and Maclean Street buzzing with people again. It may still have been a little chilly in the shade, but the sunshine certainly brought plenty of smiles! 😄🧥

Our amazing stallholders filled the street with delicious food, fresh hot donuts, dumplings, Italian treats, baking, breads, plants, handmade goodies and so much more. 🌭🍩🥟🍞🌱🛍️ There really was something for everyone—even the little ones looked pretty happy enjoying their market treats! 😋

A huge thank you to everyone who came down, supported our stallholders, stopped for a chat and helped create such a lovely community atmosphere. Your support keeps our local market going, and we truly appreciate every one of you. 💜

And, of course, a big thank you to our dedicated stallholders who turn up each week, set up early and bring so much variety, colour and happiness to our Saturday mornings. You are what makes the Kāpiti Market so special! 🙌
