Our team is flying in from all over the country to meet you at the Food Show this weekend and we reckon you shouldn’t have to hear about our sausages from someone else. You need to try them yourself.

Okay, maybe we’re biased… but South Americans put Chimichurri on everything 😂

Where did it come from? The exact origins are a little blurry, Argentina and Uruguay both have their stories but somewhere along the way, this garlicky, herby, tangy sauce became a staple at the table.

And once you have it, you understand why…

🥩 Steak? Of course.
🌭 Choripán? Absolutely.
🍗 Chicken? Yep.
🥔 Crispy roasted potatoes? YES.
🍳 Eggs for breakfast? Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.
🥖 Fresh bread? Just give us the jar.

Basically, if it’s edible, there’s a very good chance a South American will ask:
“¿Y el chimichurri?” 😂

It’s fresh, punchy, herby, garlicky and somehow makes everything taste just that little bit better.

But now we’re wondering…

**WE’RE HIRING **

The Zamora crew is growing, and we’re looking for a Production Kitchen Assistant / Sausage Maker to join the team.

You’ll start with 3 months of training in Queenstown, then relocate with us to Christchurch as we continue to grow our production operation.

•$26–$28 per hour
•Full-time | Minimum 30 hours per week

We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in butchery, meat processing, sausage making or commercial kitchen meat preparation.

We’re looking for:
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
• Meat preparation experience
• Sausage making or smallgoods experience preferred
• Good food safety and hygiene awareness
• Physically fit, reliable and hands-on
• A good attitude and strong team player
• Willing to train in Queenstown and relocate to Christchurch

Migrant candidates with the right experience may be considered.

What a few days at the Food Show! So good seeing all the familiar faces coming back for another sausage fix, we love you guys!
You cleaned us out too… we SOLD OUT Sunday morning!
Safe to say you guys were VERY into our new Taiwanese Sweet Sausage, looks like that one’s here to stay!
Big thanks to everyone who came by, had a yarn, grabbed some snags and showed us some love. We couldn’t do it without ya!
