Part-time role Available:
We are looking to fill a part time role in our Packhouse team. The role is primarily harvesting and packing herbs. Reliability is essential. We require someone who can work independently and productively. The hours of work are:
Sunday 6am - 2.15pm
Monday 6am - 11.30am
Friday 6am - 11.30am
There may be opportunity for additional hours from time to time.
The work is indoors, in our greenhouses or packhouse. We have a great team who enjoy working together, and have lots of experience to be able to support and welcome a new addition to the team.

Part Time Fixed Term Position - Ashburton Based
This is an exciting opportunity for someone that loves to work in an innovative environment growing high quality fresh herbs for retail supply.
If you have a robust mechanical aptitude, understand the fundamentals of growing plants this may be an ideal position for you.
Part-time hours consist of daily operational checks for approximately 1 hour together with a harvest day each week of around 8 hours totaling 12 hours per week. You will need to be available for call-outs if required.
This position would suit someone that can work autonomously, quick at identifying operational issues and importantly implementing solutions. You may have a background in farming or just love growing plants and can grasp a “moving parts” environment.
The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and support.

2 x permanent part time roles available at Tasman Bay Herbs.

Hi all. We have two opportunities available for Herbworkers in our business. Hours are 6am - 11.30am, one role is Sun to Tues and the other role Wed to Fri. These are permanent roles and additional hours will be available from time to time. The role involved harvesting and packing herbs. The work is all indoors. We require team members who can balance speed and quality. We have a lovely existing team and a nice working environment.

Hi all. We’re looking for a part time gardener for our business located in Riwaka. 2-3 days, hours and days of work can be flexible to some degree. Must be physically fit and able. JOB OPPORTUNITY IN RIWAKA
We are looking to recruit a dedicated Herb Workers to join our awesome team. This is a full-time position with an early start and an early finish (working hours being 6:00am – 14:15pm), Sunday to Thursday.
Responsibilities are varied including:
• Harvesting and packing herbs
• Cleaning the growing gullies and replanting crops
• Other general greenhouse tasks as required
Required Skills & Experience:
• Physically fit and energetic
• Able to work in various areas, both indoors and outdoors
• Able to work within a team and independently, as required
• Able to work accurately and with speed
• Able to follow harvesting and packing processes and instructions with a good attention to detail
• An interest in horticulture is an advantage however no prior experience is necessary
• Reliability is essential
