Winter goodness at the Tauranga Farmers Market!
Tomorrow is market day, and there’s plenty of beautiful winter produce to fill your bags! Think crisp cabbages, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, beetroot, leeks and plenty more fresh, locally grown goodness. 🥬🥕💚

Alongside all your weekly favourites, a couple of little reminders for tomorrow:

🧈 Lady Alchemy – Amy is back for her once-a-month visit with her delicious range of condiments, including her Butter Bombs! The perfect little flavour boost to melt into your winter cooking. 😋

🌰 Harbourside Macadamias – Make sure you stock up tomorrow! Wyn and Chris are heading off on holiday and will be away for five weeks after this weekend. Grab a bag (or five!) of fresh, roasted or chocolate-covered macadamias to keep you going while they’re away.

Come down, stock up for the week and support your local growers and producers. 💚

Our amazing stallholders are all set up with smiles on their faces and can't wait to see you all! 💚

✨ Mānawatia a Matariki! ✨
With the Matariki long weekend upon us, we'd like to wish all of our wonderful stallholders and customers a safe, happy, and restful weekend.

Matariki is a special time to pause, reflect on the year that has been, celebrate the present, and look ahead with hope for the future. It's a time to gather with whānau, share good food, remember those who have passed, and create new memories together.

For our tamariki, we'll be running a Matariki Star Treasure Hunt around the market! Simply pop over to the Information Stall to collect your treasure hunt sheet, then see if you can find all the hidden stars. Once you've completed it, head back to the Information Stall to go in the draw to win one of three vouches to spend in the Market!

Whether you're heading away for the long weekend or staying local, we hope you have the opportunity to slow down, spend time with your whānau, enjoy some delicious local kai, and celebrate the spirit of Matariki.

That's right — it's Friday afternoon, and for our Tauranga Farmers Market stallholders that means one thing: last-minute preparations are in full swing!

There'll be baking happening late into the evening, vegetables being freshly picked, produce being packed, trailers being loaded, and those all-important (and usually far too early!) alarms being set for tomorrow morning.

The hard work is being done for you — all you need to do is pop your market basket or shopping bags by the door and write your Farmers Market shopping list!

We're looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning in the beautiful winter sunshine from 7:45am to 12 noon. Come and stock up on fresh produce, artisan treats, quality meats, baked goods, and all your market favourites.

It's a little bit fresh this morning, but the sun is out, and it's starting to warm up!
