This Sunday, we’re doing the two-market shuffle and spreading the Arohāna love across Matamata Farmers' Market and Te Aroha's Country Market

Important heads-up for Matamata friends:
Our loaves will be with SJ Gaskell at her tent, but we’ll have fewer loaves than usual, because most of the bread squad will be hanging out with us in Te Aroha.

So if you’re coming to Matamata, make sure to go early to avoid missing out 👀
And if you’re in Te Aroha, we’ll be there fully stocked and ready.

Same loaves, same love — just split across two spots 💛

The ovens are humming, and Coffee 26 is back! ☕🍞

Our friends at Coffee 26 (Waihou) are back from their holidays, which means you can once again grab Arohāna sourdough there on Mondays and Fridays — fresh, crusty, and ready to love.

Friendly reminder:
We’re taking orders until Wednesday evening for our Friday bake, so don’t let future-you miss out 😄

And yes… market season is rolling again!
We’ll be at the Te Aroha's Country Market and Matamata Farmers' Market this Sunday, with all the juicy details coming later this week.

Starter drama update 🍞🎭

After a brief moment of diva behaviour from our sourdough starter (every artist needs a rest, apparently 😄), we’re happy to report that peace has been restored in the kitchen.
The starter is bubbly, happy, and back doing what it does best.

We’re back baking and taking orders until Wednesday evening for our Friday bake, so if you’d like fresh Arohāna sourdough to end of the week, now’s the time to order.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and for cheering us on — we can’t wait to get these loaves back into your hands 💛

A little update for our Matamata Farmers' Market friends 💛

We won’t be at the market tomorrow (Sunday), and we wanted to let you know why.
Unfortunately, we’ve had an issue with our starter, and rather than pushing through, we’ve chosen not to bake — because it wouldn’t be the quality of loaves you know and trust from us.

Quality always comes first for us, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

The good news: we’ll be back at Matamata Farmers’ Market on Sunday, 4th January, fully refreshed and ready with beautiful loaves again ✨

We’re honestly so grateful… and yes, we’re officially working on the ancient art of multiplying loaves for the next one 😂✨
