Small scale but big hearted Homekill and wild game only Butchery (not retail butchery) .After years of working in the industry I have taken the step to start my own operation to provide an honest service with integrity and a smile. Those that have seen myself(Ely) operating the mobile homekill truck are always amazed by the professionalism, skill and speed along with great stock sense, marksmanship whilst honoring the lives taken to sustain our own.

The bitterness of poor quality will outlast the sweetness of a cheap deal!

At first glance it may appear we are more expensive than the other competition in south canterbury, but you get what you pay for.

You won't regret the extra price when you pull your cuts out of the freezer in 12months time and find they are as good as the day they went in.

I was close to selling up at the start of this year, due to an unhealthy workload that has impacted my family life for the last 5+years. But dont panic!
I have my regained my focus and passion to keep servicing South Canterbury with the best home kill service available.
We have another butcher starting in July to help with the ever growing work load and keep me working on the business and not buried in it 😅. That will bring us up to a total 5 staff, wow!

Had to bust the long range rifle out this morning for two wild but marvelous beefies in the frost.

2025 is nearly wrapped up. We close after Monday the 22nd and start filling the chillers from the 13th Jan, open for processing on the 19th Jan.

This year has been full of major achievements for the business's growth and overcoming hurdles along the way.

Thankyou to all of our long standing loyal clients and the new ones still joining our journey. Nearly 5 years operating now! I could never have imagined things would turn out as big as it has, from when I first established the company. Its all thanks to the community and the amazing team we have working here!

See you all in the new year. We'll be back with a spring in our step after some time with the families.
