I often get asked, “Why is honey so expensive?” 🍯

And I always say — because it’s not an artificially made spread like Marmite or peanut butter. Honey has to be made by bees.

Millions of flowers are visited, our bees are cared for all year round, hives are transported and checked, honey is harvested, extracted, tested and packed — and at the end of it all, Mother Nature decides how much we actually get.

There’s no factory making more if we run out. No recipe we can just double.

It’s bees, flowers, weather and beekeepers. 🐝
