WOW… Auckland, you absolutely blew me away! 💛

What an incredible four days! I'm heading home absolutely exhausted, but with the biggest smile on my face.

To every single person who stopped for a chat, sampled one of my latte concentrates, bought a bottle, shared kind words, or simply encouraged me along the way... thank you. You made this show one I'll never forget.

This weekend was full of milestones: ✨ My first ever export order! ✨ Hundreds more bottles are now heading into homes around New Zealand (and beyond!). ✨ I handed out so many samples that I ran out of tasting cups... twice! 🤯

You all kept me on my toes from start to finish, and I loved every minute of it.

To my amazing returning customers who came looking for me, and to everyone discovering Lee-thal Latte for the first time, thank you for believing in what I do. Every bottle is made by hand in Carterton using real ingredients, and seeing the response this weekend means more than I can put into words.

Now it's time to celebrate, catch my breath, and then get back into the kitchen... because I've got a lot more bottles to make!

🚨 IT'S SHOWTIME! 🚨

Today's the day... The Auckland Food Show is officially underway! 🎉

After a 5:00 a.m. start yesterday, a few unexpected adventures, a very long drive, and an even longer setup, Lee-thal Latte is ready to rock!

This is the biggest show of the year for us, and I honestly couldn't be more excited!

If you're heading to the Auckland Food Show over the next four days, make sure you come and find me in the Artisan Village – Stand V9.

Well... what a day! 😅

The alarm went off at 5:00 a.m., and I was on the road by 6:00 a.m., trailer in tow and heading for Auckland.

Of course, it wouldn't be an adventure without a couple of hiccups! First up, the trailer lights decided they had a mind of their own. A little bit of good old Kiwi ingenuity (and, believe it or not, a rubbish bag!) had them behaving perfectly for the rest of the trip.

Then came the realisation that I'd left my business EFTPOS card at home. 😳 That meant finding somewhere in Taupō where I could park with a trailer without having to reverse, getting to the bank, sorting a replacement card, and then finally getting fuel so I could continue north.

Once I finally hit the expressway, I had another lesson in towing. Watching everyone else—including the trucks—fly past at 110 km/h while I cruised along at my legal 90 km/h definitely took a bit of getting used to! 😂

After arriving in Auckland, there was still plenty to do. I even managed to book the wrong size table, so that had to be swapped out before I could finish setting everything up.

Fast forward to 7:00 p.m. and the stand was finally ready. It's now 8:30 p.m., I'm back in the motel enjoying a room-service burger before an early night.

Tomorrow the real fun begins!

🚛 Big things are happening at Lee-thal Latte!

This weekend I'm back at the Manawatū Home & Lifestyle Show... but this year, there's something a little different.

After months of squeezing everything into the Outlander, Lee-thal Latte has officially grown into a trailer! 😄

Today was its maiden voyage, loaded with bottles, samples and everything I need for the weekend.
I'm happy to report it towed like an absolute dream, and everything arrived safely in Palmerston North.

It's moments like this that make me stop and appreciate how far this little business has come. Thank you to every single person who's supported me along the way—you've helped make milestones like this possible. ❤️

What a bloody awesome weekend!

To everyone who stopped by the Lee-thal Latte stand to have a taste, ask questions, share a laugh, or stock up on your favourite flavours—thank you. Every single bottle sold, every conversation, and every bit of support means the world to this little Wairarapa business.

A huge thank you to the organisers for putting on such a fantastic event, and to all the amazing foodies, makers, and fellow exhibitors who made the weekend so much fun.

I'm heading home absolutely exhausted, with sore feet, a full heart, and a car that's a whole lot lighter than when I arrived... and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Hamilton, you've been incredible. Thank you for making this one to remember.
