✨ Supporting our whānau, one loaf at a time! ✨

We’ve donated 2 loaves of fresh, homemade rēwana to support the Matariki Kete Raffle run by our local Community Koha Op Shop in Waipukurau — a kaupapa that gives so much back to our people.

There are four epic prizes to be won — including taonga, wellbeing goodies, kai, and reo Māori resources — all while helping the Op Shop raise funds to fix leaks, upgrade security, and continue their mahi in the heart of CHB.

🥖✨ Two sizes. One tūpuna-powered recipe. ✨🥖
Introducing our $10 OG Rēwana Loaf and the $15 Whatumā Mega-Loaf — both handmade with love, whakapapa, and our 6th generation starter bug, lovingly known as Dough-lene.

After a bit of rest, Dough-lene’s back to life — reawoken with a mix of "ancestral" and "artificial" intelligence (because we love to work smarter, not harder) — and I’ve spent the past 6 months refining our recipe around the chaos of māmā life with three tamariki under six. The goal: kai that carries the same wairua and tangy-sweet flavour Nan used to make, but made with the realness of today’s rhythm.

Whatumā Mega-Loaf 🌊🥖
Same whakapapa, just nearly twice the size!

Our Whatumā Mega-Loaf is made from the same cherished rēwana bug but with an extra helping of goodness to keep the whānau fed.

Named after Lake Whatumā (Hatuma), a place of gathering and nourishment for our tīpuna, this loaf carries the same spirit—meant for sharing, for feasting, and for making sure no one goes hungry.

A rēwana loaf with a little extra mana… and a lot more to go around!
