🎉 Foodnerd Update: The Machines Have Spoken! 🎉

Good news, foodnerds — one of my freeze dryers has officially come back to life!
After weeks of drama, tests, repairs, emotional support, and a few stern talks, she is finally humming again.

The other machine… well, she has decided to take an extended holiday.
I’m still waiting for the replacement parts to arrive — and to be honest, I’m not even sure if the new parts will actually fix her, but we will try our best.
(Honestly, I cannot blame her — it has been a year. 😂)

So here is the plan:

✨ Pre-orders are now open
✨ First deliveries will resume in the New Year
✨ Stock will be slower than usual with only one machine running, so please be patient with us
✨ I’ll keep you all posted on the ongoing “Machine Saga”

Thank you all for being so patient, supportive, and part of this little Foodnerd roller coaster. Your messages and encouragement really mean so much to me.

*******My Machines Are Having a Mood Swing 😩******

Hi Foodnerd family 💛

You are not going to believe this… BOTH of my freeze drying machines have decided to “check out” at the same time. Honestly, if they had legs, they would have walked out the door together.

They are currently broken, moody, and refusing to work. I’m doing everything I can to revive them, but until then, production is paused.

Thank you for sticking with me through the drama. I will update you once the machines stop being emotional 😭

Reflecting on the past year, we're grateful for the special occasions we've been part of. On December 27th, 2024, we had the honor of contributing to Steven and Pam's wedding by providing our premium freeze-dried fruits for their exquisite cake, masterfully crafted by CakeLab NZ

We’re beyond excited to see our freeze-drying magic featured in this incredible creation by La Petite Chocolate in collaboration with Ichigo Strawberries!

Using Hawke's Bay’s finest strawberries, lovingly grown by Ichigo Strawberries, and paired with LaPetite Chocolate creamy white chocolate, this bar is truly a work of art. Foodnerd’s role? Freeze-drying those vibrant strawberries to preserve their intense flavour and colour – making them the perfect addition to this masterpiece.
