Easter eggs can be enjoyed all year round! Our (very late) container has arrived and we have most of our stock back in the shop, including crisps. Our website will updated over the weekend and our sweet jars will be filled up next week.

Petone Fair - on now. Such a lovely day for it

🔷 PETONE ROTARY FAIR 🔷 ..is on tomorrow, Saturday, 21 February, along Jackson Street's historic shopping precinct (between Victoria & Cuba Sts): 10am-4pm.

🔸 WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW🔸
🛍 the majority of the businesses on Jackson Street are open - many have fair day specials!
👮 Lisa, our lovely JSP Ambassador/volunteer is kindly opening up the Old Jail Museum between 10am-2pm: 274B Jackson St (behind the Historic Police Station). FREE entry.
🎒 Don't forget to bring reusable bags for your purchases.
❌ Jackson St will be closed to traffic from 6am-6pm
🚌 For changes to BUS services inbound & outbound for routes 83, 110 & 130 - check out: https://www.metlink.org.nz/services/bus - put in which bus you want to catch, and go to the pink "Alerts today" section for the detour map
🚈 Coming by TRAIN: disembark at Petone Railway Station and walk 3-5 minutes to the beginning of the Fair
🚗 Coming by CAR: please be mindful of residents if parking on the side streets off Jackson St - you may be towed if parked over driveways
📍 Note: there's no parking fundraisers at either Sacred Heart School or Petone Central School this year. Also, there's no WelTec carpark for use on the corner of Britannia & Udy Sts anymore.
🦽 Disabled Parking: is along Buick Street - between Adelaide & Jackson Sts. There will be supervisors there to help.
🐕 Petone Rotary Club + Hutt City Council encourage you to leave your dogs at home please. This is for their comfort along with those attending the Fair (esp. little kids), plus the businesses / stallholders.

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope you have a lovely time spending time with friends, family or whatever your plans are over this break. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2026. We will be closed now until Saturday 10th January, when we will be open from 11am to 3pm.
