Le Marché Français Deli is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic cheese lover to join our team! 🧀🛍

One of our staff members is leaving, so we’re on the lookout for someone who can step in and help us out.

About the role:
✔ Work at our shop on Thorndon Quay from Monday to Thursday, 9 AM to 2.00 PM.
✔ Take care of our Market stall at the Harbourside Market and sell some cheeses there to our amazing customers, on Sundays from 6.30 AM to approximately 2 PM.
✔ Prepare and deliver orders around Wellington, and assist the team with daily operations.
✔ Occasionally help with special events, fairs, and festivals on weekends.
✔ If you like marketing and are comfortable with social media, videos and/or photos, it would be a huge plus
✔ Tasks can vary, so being versatile and able to multitask is a big plus!

Requirements:
🔸 A valid work visa
🔸 A valid driver’s license

Le Marché Français Deli is looking for a friendly person to sell our cheeses at the Deli and on the Sunday Market. 🧀🧀🧀🛍

About the job:
• You will be at the shop preparing orders, delivering the orders around Wellington and helping our team on Sundays (from 6:30am to 3:30pm approximately), Mondays (from 9am to 1pm), Tuesdays (from 9am to 1pm), Wednesdays (from 9am to 5pm).
• You will be holding our stall at Harbourside Market on Sundays.
• You might be asked to work during Saturdays for special events or markets. We already have some Saturdays events/markets booked in November and December.
• Then you will be working full time from Christmas week

Requirements:
• A valid work visa
• A valid driver license
• A good English and being independent
• Can be available to work until at least March 2025

The ideal candidate:
• Should be a foodie
• Have a bubbly personality
• Know the basics about France 🇨🇵

Working hours are 9am to 1pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. 9am to 5pm on Wednesdays. And 6.30am on Sundays (yes, the markets start early!) to 3/4pm according to your own time management. The team will prepare your market at the Deli (Thorndon Quay) on Friday afternoon.
Working hours will change from Christmas week.

Benefits:
• A 5% Bonus on the total market sales if you reach a certain amount (will be discussed during the interview)
