We’re so glad the sun’s out this weekend because this pie was designed to be enjoyed in the sunshine.

Baked almond tart. Sliced pear compote. Vanilla custard. Whipped mascarpone. Candied pear.

The whipped mascarpone paired with the candied pear makes for a real showstopper. Especially as the pear catches the sunlight.

Good thing our courtyard is the perfect place to bask in some Welly rays.
