Our mission is to provide a space to support our community's producers and consumers in a healthy way

We currently have a market on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. Our mission with the Bocas Farmer's Market is to provide a space where our community can enjoy fresh local produce and food products. This vibrant community gathering not only supports farmers and small business owners but also has a positive impact on our local economy, environment, and health. By supporting our local farmers

market, we not only have access to fresh, locally grown produce, but we are also creating jobs and promoting a sustainable local economy. Did you know that over 50% of the food consumed in our country is imported, according to the Panamanian Ministry of Agriculture? By reducing the distance our food travels to get to our plates, we also reduce the carbon footprint of our meals. We are committed to keeping the market free for consumers and vendors so that it can support everyone.

Hello Bocas Community! We have some important news regarding the Bocas Farmer’s Market. This will be the final month that the farmer’s market is hosted at Vivero Deliciosa We will see you all tomorrow at 10 am and then again on the 25th for our final market. We are not sure how the market will continue from there but please make sure to follow our pages for updates. Thank you to all of the people who have made this so special! This is just the beginning and it's exciting to see where the community will go from here.

Vendor Spotlight!

Emilio Acin is the director of Wasteless World (), a non-profit organization that seeks sustainable solutions to environmental problems. They currently have two main projects. 1 2 Precious Plastic

Bye Bye Lionfish was created to implement a system to combat the invasive lion fish problem here in Bocas. The idea is to motivate local fishermen to hunt the lion fish by creating a way for them to profit. This is achieved through selling the meat and using the fins to create sustainable jewelry.

Precious plastic is an initiative set to reduce the impact plastic has on the islands here in Bocas. They arrange environmental clean ups and then use the plastic collected to create beautiful long lasting products that have a long useful life.

Come help them improve the environment and get some cool accessories or gifts!

Community Appreciation Post!
We would like to thank everyone who worked hard to make the roof of the farmer's market possible! A special thank you to for donating all of the roof panels and screws. And to everyone else who donated money, time, materials, or service for the auction, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

We saw how important it was when we had a short rainstorm during the market. Everyone was able to stay dry and continue having a great time.

We look forward to seeing you all under the roof every Saturday at 10 am!

Vendor Spotlight!
Meet Nadir and .hill.374! They are bringing a wide variety of tropical fruits and edible plants from a mature permaculture food forest that was planted over 20 years ago by Bruce in Bastimentos. Since the beginning of the farm, Bruce has selected high quality genetics and propagated with the intention of creating the ideal varieties for Bocas Del Toro. They also offer educational and foraging tours in their densely planted food forest for those who want to learn what it takes to grow food from the beginning and have a nursery where they sell some of their specialized plants.

Nadir, originally from a small village in Bosnia, has been living on the farm and helping to care for it for around 9 months and 1 year total in Bocas. He was raised on locally grown and foraged foods from a young age in Europe, so he deeply understand how important it is to have the skills to be able to grow and pick high quality, nutritious foods. He has enjoyed the new knowledge that comes with the tropical environment that offers up new opportunities for cultivation

Vendor Spotlight!
Introducing . Gloria started this project in Buenos Aires during quarantine because she loves plants and nature. Now she is making natural cosmetics and more right here in Bocas. Her products are all based on local plants and vegetable oils with the goal of taking care of your body and the environment at the same time.

Gloria arrived in our island paradise in 2014 looking for a more harmonious life connected to nature. And here she is almost 10 years later enjoying the beautiful island and trying to raise awareness in people's daily consumption. Recycle, grow and return to craftsmanship.

Vendor Spotlight!
is a Bocas-based business passionate about bringing healthy products to islanders and visitors alike. Jessie and Ivan of the International Permaculture Community (), on Isla Colon, began with coconut butter in 2020 and now offer a variety of dehydrated coconut and dried tropical fruit products. They source their ingredients as local as possible, even growing some themselves.

They have created a small intentional community based on permaculture principles that strives for food sovereignty and lives in balance with nature. The community is currently 7 strong and growing! Stop by and support them by purchasing their products or reaching out if you are interested in joining their community.

Our vendor guidelines. We are looking for more vendors for the market! We have expanded to allow all types of products, not only food, as long as they are made in the province of Bocas del Toro. Please reach out to us if you are interested in a vendor spot, so we can confirm availability and add you to our vendor group.

Hi Bocas Community! We are very excited to let you know that we will be hosting a Grand Reopening of the Bocas Farmer's Market on September 30th at 10 am. The market will now be hosted in the morning due to our new roof and will now be every Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. That's not all! We are opening up the market to non-food related vendors as long as the products are made here in Bocas. The Bocas Farmer's Market will now but the place to find all sorts of products made right here in Bocas.
