Madang Fresh Produce Development Corporation and Grosspay Digital through its MSME Credit Union has open up doors for ordinary farmers in the villages to open an account. The agreement comes into effect where kina bank has approved Madang Fresh Produce Development Corporation farmers to establish accounts with MiBank and Kina Bank. The requirements for two forms of ID cards and other requirements has made many local citizens find it difficult to open bank account. Now the good news is if you are subsistence farmer living in the villages and need a bank account. We are here to help you open account to fulfill the financial inclusion aim of the national government.

Trainees who has completed their training and receive their certificates on December 1. The training covered vegetables farming, seedling and chemical usages. Stay tune for more details to come. A total of 77 certificate were issued.

Training 3 for Sustainable agriculture practice in Bundi LLG , the training was attended by ward 3 to 31 representative of Usino Bundi LLG. Madang Fresh Produce Development Corporation an MSME supporting MSME in the province. The total membership now stands at 60 for fully registered member while other members still yet to complete their registration is 78. With this growing interest from mine surrounded community to venture in livestock, vegetables and other farming activities.

Participants around 80 were distributed with seedlings to go and do trials in their gardens. The next training for livestocks and vegetables will be conducted on December 1. Madang Fresh Produce Development Corporation has a total of 150 plus members from youths, middle age and old parents who had commended the efforts by Madang Fresh Produce Development Corporation. Over the past since independence no one has ever initiate training and willing to support local farmers of Usino LLG. Usino is one of the very least developed area in the Madang Province with no government services. Only through Sir Max David this people receive most services at Brahman station. The education level of this community so low and the poverty level is below poverty line. This community lacks government services and if anyone from relevant authority could work with Madang Fresh Produce Development Corporation to help this people earn so that their living standards can be raised.
