Good day, everyone. I'm Juliana Bea Orcullo, a 4th year BS in Internal Auditing student at Father Saturnino Urios University (FSUU). Grateful for my journey in leadership and academics, I'm humbled most by the volunteer work that's filled my heart.
It started humbly during my Senior High School, where I was the Treasurer in FSUU - Senior Plus Red Cross Youth during my 11th Grade, and then became the President the following year. In college, I continued this act of volunteerism as the President of FSUU - College Red Cross Youth for 2 years, where I led the very first blood letting activity in the University, as well as serve outside the school during rallies and festivals. In my 3rd year, I was appointed the position of the Executive Council Undersecretary for the Budget Management Division of the Supreme Student Government in the University, then became the Executive Council Secretary of Finance in my 4th year. Through these leadership roles, as well as being the Finance Head for Events and SSG Speaker for Financial Reporting Transparency, I learned stewardship through teamwork and skills, echoing my auditing path.
These moments, from Red Cross training to responder roles, were not about me, but us turning fear into comfort, one caring hand at a time. They have shown me the service's quiet joy.
