Ever wonder how bees find the best flowers without Google Maps? 📍🐝

While it looks like they’re just having a mid-day shiver, you’re actually looking at the world’s most advanced GPS: The Waggle Dance. 💃

They use this high-speed shimmying to give their sisters precise coordinates to the best forage in the area. No satellites required, just some serious core strength!

I wish my fellow beekeepers gave directions this clearly! 🗺️

A closer look at a special treat for our bees. 😁

Supplemental feeding is our top priority during the dearth season. While sugar syrup provides the immediate energy they need, these pollen patties provide the essential protein and nutrients required for growth and development. Keeping the colony balanced and strong until the next honey flow! 🐝🐝🍯

Went on to check one of our breeders today but caught her mid-stride, so focused on her work that she was laying eggs while walking across the frame. Apologies to my queen for the sudden interruption!
