You lied to people, so they would hate me, twisting words and manipulating truths to tarnish my reputation and turn others against me. Meanwhile, I lied to people so they would like you, hiding your flaws and exaggerating your virtues to make you appear more endearing and worthy of admiration.
It's a tragic irony, isn't it? We both engaged in deception, but with opposite intentions. Your lies were meant to harm, to destroy, and to isolate. Mine were meant to protect, to promote, and to unite.
But here's the thing: lies have a way of unraveling, and the truth always surfaces eventually. And when it does, the consequences of our actions will be revealed. Your deceit may have damaged my relationships, but my lies may have masked the true nature of yours.
Let's hope that one day, we can both learn to be honest, to communicate openly, and to build genuine connections with others. Until then, the web of lies will continue to entangle us, a constant reminder of the destructive power of deception.
