A Note From Nanay:
Paydays are awesome!!! Aside from the fact that the bills are paid, it is also a day for me to prepare an extra special meal for my family. I am a mother of four and I enjoy cooking for them. The look on their faces at every taste, and the constant "Sarap, 'Nay!" expressions they make, give me a delight. These are your typical kids who would rather have fries and burgers from a
fast food on a payday Friday. And seeing them munch with my home cooked meal is but a gladness. I was making extra income by reselling goods to my office mates when I realized "Why don't I try selling my own product?". It sounded very impossible, but, luckily, I have a very supportive life partner, the Tatay of my kids, who made everything seem easy. I gained enough confidence and start exploring my skills in cooking. It took me a -long- while of learning, failure, frustration, and fulfillment. After endless taste tests with my original clients (the kiddos) sealed with my family's approval, I finally have given birth to my fifth child, Nanay's Delicacies. But I want to be clear that this product has never been about me. It is about a mother's passion in introducing home cooked delicacies to her loved ones. My goal is to connect to every Nanays in all places and be a part of their loving household. That, again, sounds impossible, but, who knows? Nice to meet you,
