Ang salitang “Dipolog” ay pinaniniwalaang galing sa salitang Subanen na “Di-pag”, na ang ibig sabihin ay “lampas sa ilog” o “beyond the river.”
👉 Noong unang panahon, ang mga tao ay tumutukoy sa lugar base sa lokasyon nito sa kabila ng ilog, kaya tinawag itong “Di-pag.”
👉 Sa paglipas ng panahon, dahil sa impluwensya ng mga Kastila at pagbabago sa pagbigkas, naging “Dipolog” ito.
Ngayon, ang Dipolog City ay kilala bilang kabiserang lungsod ng Zamboanga del Norte at tinatawag ding “Gateway to Western Mindanao.”

During a total lunar eclipse, Earth sits directly between the Sun and the Moon. Sunlight passing through Earth’s atmosphere gets bent and scattered shorter blue wavelengths get scattered out, while longer red/orange wavelengths reach the Moon, giving it its reddish “blood moon” color.

Natapos ang rehimen matapos ang pagpaslang kay Benigno Aquino Jr. Dahil sa bigat ng historical importance nito, idinideklara ng gobyerno ang Feb 25 bilang special non-working holiday sa ilang taon (depende sa administrasyon at proclamation)

Bakit parang dati hindi naman holiday?

May mga taon na hindi ito declared na holiday
May mga taon na iniilipat o hindi binibigyan ng day-off
Depende talaga sa desisyon ng kasalukuyang gobyerno kung gagawing holiday o simpleng commemoration lang

Bakit special non-working at hindi regular holiday?

Para maalala pa rin ang event

🆕 Major Update: Live-Action Reboot Coming Soon

The Australian broadcaster ABC has officially announced a brand-new live-action version of Bananas in Pyjamas — the first live show since the original run up to 2001.

This reboot will bring back the beloved banana twins B1 and B2 on screen, in person and in costumes, instead of computer animation.

The show will be produced in South Australia by Windmill Production Company, known for physical performance and puppetry, aiming to recapture the original’s charm for today’s kids.

ABC says the reboot keeps the fun spirit of the original — music, humour, imaginative play and the quirky neighbourhood Cuddles Avenue — while introducing it to a whole new generation.

This project is part of a government-backed funding push of around AU$50 million to boost local children’s TV content.
