Crystal Joy Abarquez, 12, was reported missing on February 11, 2026. On February 19, 2026, her body was discovered near the boundary of Barangay Ibo and Kabitoonan in Toledo City, Cebu.
According to reports, the area was searched after a dog was seen carrying what appeared to be part of a human foot, which led residents to the location where she was found.
Authorities are currently conducting a full investigation into the case. Officials have identified a person of interest and are continuing to gather evidence as part of the ongoing inquiry.
