The Barangay Poblacion, would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Governor Imelda Q. Dimaporo for the generous donation of collapsible tent, which will be instrumental in supporting various community activities. These tent will provide shelter and convenience during our barangay events, such as medical missions, community outreach programs, and public gatherings.

This thoughtful donation will significantly enhance the efficiency of our barangay activities and improve the overall experience for everyone involved.

On behalf of Barangay Poblacion Council, we thank you once again for your kindness. We look forward to using the tent in future barangay activities and continue fostering unity and cooperation within our community.

LOOK: JVR Foundation, Inc. and EMCOR DONATE Bajaj Re Tri-Wheeler Vehicles to Barangay Poblacion, Magsaysay, Lanao del Norte for Emergency Use

The JVR Foundation, Inc. and EMCOR have generously donated Bajaj RE tri-wheeler vehicles to Barangay Poblacion, which will be used as emergency vehicles to assist the local community.

Hon. WILSON B. Patarlas (Punong Barangay) and the Barangay officials warmly accepted the donation, which reflects a strong collaboration between the Barangay Local Government and the private sector.

This donation will be a significant asset to the constituents of Barangay Poblacion, providing valuable resources for emergency response situations. The formal turnover ceremony and signing of the deed of donation took place yesterday, with representatives from EMCOR and JVR Foundation present for the event.

This partnership showcases the commitment of both the public and private sectors to improving emergency services and ensuring that the community is better equipped to respond to emergencies.

On September 19, The MSU-IIT NMPC TUBOD LDN BRANCH donated books and toys to Day Care Center pupils in Brgy. Poblacion, Lanao del Norte.

These gifts are not just items to play with but a powerful tools that support the children’s early learning journey. This will encourage creativity, improve literacy skills, and provide essential social interaction opportunities.

The Barangay Council, spearheaded by Hon. Wilson B. Patarlas, helped distribute the books and toys to the children. The parents and guardians of the pupils expressed their happiness and appreciation for the donated items.

IN PHOTOS - The Sangguniang Barangay Members of Poblacion, led by the Punong Barangay Hon. Wilson B. Patarlas, along with the Committee Chairman on Education Hon. Warlyn A. Lorejo, Committee Chairman on Finance Hon. Emma M. Ansing, Committee on Agriculture Hon. Jann Resty C. Supilanas and Barangay Secretary Elmer P. Laran, actively participated in a two-day Orientation-Workshop on “Strengthening Barangay Governance Towards Effective and Efficient Delivery of Barangay Services Under BNEO Towards Great Barangays Program” at Minkay , Midway White Beach Resort, Initao, Misamis Oriental last August 7-8, 2024.

This event aimed to enhance their leadership abilities and promote community development which will be the life vest of the barangay officials in delivering effective and efficient service to their constituents. The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) facilitated the event, equipping them with knowledge and resources to foster transparency and promote participatory governance, crucial for ensuring sustainable barangay growth.
