My low carb meals by Kusina ni Grasya😃❤️ very satisfying😋

☀️ Homemade Electrolyte Drink ☀️

Ingredients:

500 ml Water
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cream of Tartar
1/4 tsp Epsom Salt (optional)

💡 Combine lang lahat ng ingredients para sa low carb electrolyte drink. Inumin within 24 hours, tapos gawa na lang ng panibago sa susunod na araw.

💡 Pwedeng haluan ng sweetener, lemon, and/or lime para mag-lasang lemonade.

💡 Pwede ding sparkling water ang gamitin, haluan ng sweetener, lemon, and/lime para maglasang sprite 😉

💡 Ok lang din ung warm, cold, and iced.

💡 Para naman sa salt, pwede ung himalayan salt, ok din ang sea salt.

Kung nagsisimula ka pa lang mag low carb, make sure na uminom nito para makaiwas sa keto flu.

Kung nakaka-experience ka na ng keto flu, inom na agad.

Optional ung Epsom Salt, unless sobrang active ka.

Benefits:

👉🏻 Salt (Sodium)
Sa "normal" diet, tinatago ng katawan natin ang sodium kaya common advice na limited dapat ang paggamit ng asin at pagkain ng maaalat.

Sa low carb diet naman, sumasama sa ihi natin ang sodium kaya kailangan i-replace. Kaya wag matakot magdagdag ng asin sa pagkain at inumin. 🙂

👉🏻 Cream of Tartar (Potassium)
Kapag bumaba ang sodium sa katawan, bababa din ang potassium. Dito na magsisimula ung keto flu.

Anjan ung sakit ng ulo, pagkahilo, brain fog, fatigue, constipation, nausea, at madami pa. Keto flu yan na maiiwasan kung iiincrease natin ang sodium at potassium intake.

Maganda ding source ng potassium ang avocado, pero hindi ang banana. 700mg ang potassium ng avocado samantalang 422mg lang sa banana. Isama mo pa ung mataas na content ng carbs ng banana.

Kung palagi ka naman kumakain ng avocado, ok lang na wag ka na maghalo ng cream of tartar sa inumin.

👉🏻 Epsom Salt (Magnesium)
Optional lang ito dahil bababa lang ang magnesium natin sa katawan kapag mababa na ang sodium at potassium.

Pero ihalo ninyo ito sa inumin kung active kayo. Lalo na sa mga palaging nagwoworkout.
