The Ilocos Region in the Philippines is widely recognized for its deep-rooted cultural heritage and its diverse array of locally made products. These range from traditional handicrafts, such as handwoven textiles and pottery, to high-quality agricultural goods, including specialty food products and processed farm produce.
To showcase and promote these unique regional offerings, the Rimat ti Amianan (which translates to Brilliance of the North) Trade Fair is being organized as a significant platform for local artisans, entrepreneurs, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Region 1. This event will provide them with an opportunity to exhibit their distinct, high-quality, and innovative products to a broader audience.
Through this trade fair, participating businesses will gain increased exposure, potential market expansion, and valuable networking opportunities. Moreover, the event will help preserve traditional crafts while encouraging economic growth and innovation within the region. By bringing together producers, consumers, and industry stakeholders, Rimat ti Amianan aims to strengthen local industries, boost tourism, and promote sustainable livelihood opportunities for the people of Ilocos.
