Community Farmers' Market

Community Farmers' Market “A Farmers Market is about people who love food, growers, and eaters alike". Welcome to the official Facebook group for the Community Farmer's Market!

We are a growing community of farmers and small business owners that have been helping each other grow since the COVID-19 pandemic started. We were founded by Cristina Callejo whose love and passion for hiking and travel led her to commit to a greater purpose and fulfilling a lifelong dream of helping farmers and their families thrive. She believes, “A Farmers Market is about people who love food,

growers, and eaters alike." "We get the freshest produce under an environmentally friendly and enjoyable shopping experience. You can even directly meet and ask the farmers for advice on what are the best fruits and veggies in season.”

Our market also spreads awareness of agricultural issues and creates a sense of community sorely needed in these trying times. You might meet farmers who have persevered and learned to help each other and come up with other ways to earn money. We are a community of passionate cultivators enthusiastic about sharing our produce and our stories with you, as well as hearing your stories too. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Thank you again for your help. I know you always choose to remain nameless, but I hope you know how much your kindness means — not only to me, but to so many people whose lives you quietly touch. Especially now, when prices are high and many families are struggling just to put food on the table, your help becomes even more meaningful.

Last Thursday, you once again made the Maginhawa Community Pantry group in Quezon City smile. But what makes your help even more special is that it does not only feed people in need. Through your continuous support of my advocacy, you are also helping the farmers — the very people who work so hard every day to feed all of us.

Many people only see the food being given, but behind every vegetable, every harvest, and every meal are farmers trying their best to survive too. Because of your good heart, you help both ends — the hungry families and the farmers who keep going despite all the hardships.

Thank you for always believing in this advocacy and for helping quietly, without wanting recognition. Your kindness reaches farther than you probably realize, and so many people are grateful for you. ❤️

Hello everyone 🌾

I’m once again so grateful for those who continue to reach out, wanting to help people in need—especially now that prices of vegetables, meat, and other basic goods keep going up.

I may not have posted for quite some time, but the helping never stopped—and it never will.

I’m fortunate to be able to go directly to farmers, which also helps them sell their produce. So it’s not just one-way—we’re able to support both the farmers and the families who need it most.

To everyone who has helped and continues to do so, thank you. My heart is truly full. 💛
