Banana 🍌 as the largest herb and its fruit as (Technically) 'berry' 👀

ᴅɪᴅ ʏᴏᴜ ᴋɴᴏᴡ? Bananas may look like they grow on trees, but the banana plant is actually the world’s largest herb, originally native to Southeast Asia!

What looks like a “tree trunk” is not real wood, it’s made of tightly packed layers of leaves wrapped around each other, called a pseudostem ("false stem"). Because it has no woody trunk like true trees, botanists classify the banana plant as an herb.

And here’s the twist: the banana itself is technically a berry!🤯

From leafy “trunks” to berry fruits, bananas remind us that nature is full of amazing surprises. 🍌

More Young Farmers Learn Modern Agriculture In Our Farm!

Another Batch Of Young Agriculturists from the Cotabato Foundation College of Science & Technology (CFCST) Montawal Campus completed their 240-hour training in Nursery Operations.

They learned Inarching method of asexual propagation of the EVIARC Sweet Jackfruit and many more.

They compose the latest group of students who completed Internship in our farm.
