Just a random Saturday lang..

Niadto ko sa Saturday class sa among ate sa Kutitap at LTFGC. Then, naay nag-approach sa akoa and asked, “Di ba naga kilay man ka dzai?”
Of course, I said YES with a big smile. 🥹
Then she said, “Pwede ba nimo ayuhon akong kilay?”
Syempre, I happily said YES. 💛

✨ My Humble Beginning ✨

Minsan ang sarap balikan kung saan talaga nagsimula ang lahat. My journey in the beauty industry started humbly as a salon attendant from Fix Bench Salon to Philippe Torjman Le Salon at Sofitel Manila. At that time, hindi ko pa alam kung saan ako dadalhin ng buhay, pero isang bagay ang sigurado: I was surrounded by an amazing team who helped shape my confidence and skills.

I’m forever grateful sa mga colleagues ko noon, mga naging mentors, friends, at kapamilya sa trabaho. Sila yung nag-encourage sa’kin, nagturo, at minsan pa nga, ako yung ginagawang “hair model” tuwing practice days. 🤣💇‍♀️

And honestly, dun ako mas lalo natuto. Sa bawat gawa ng kulay, haircut practice, styling, at kahit yung mga moments na kailangan ko lang umupo, magtiwala, at hayaan silang i-experiment, all of that helped open up my talent in beauty.

Every experience, small or big, contributed to who I am today. Kung hindi dahil sa training, sa challenges, at sa support ng team, hindi ko madidiscover ang passion ko sa creative work. Hindi ko rin mararating ang confidence na meron ako ngayon.

And of course, kudos to Mr. Philippe Torjman. Thank you for believing in me and seeing what I could offer even when I was just starting. Your trust truly made an impact and motivated me to keep growing in this industry.

My journey was never perfect, but it was beautiful because of the people, the lessons, and the opportunities that shaped me.

I’m Jhec, a mom of 3 beautiful kids. I started in the beauty industry as a salon attendant/receptionist, worked in BPO, and now I’m building a career as a Virtual Assistant while still doing what I love in threading and waxing.
