“Let no one say when he is tempted, ‘I am being tempted by God,’ for God cannot be tempted with evil, and He himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.” (James 1:12) This is a direct reminder from James, telling us that if we find our selves in a pit hole, we have no one else to blame but our own selves…For God gave each of us wisdom to exercise “free will”…the ability to choose between right or wrong, to act immediately or to procrastinate, to go right or to go left, to notice or to ignore, to accept or to reject, to believe or not…Opportunities come to us every day and we are the ones who decide if we will avail of them or not…and the consequences of our actions is of our own doing, not because of anyone else and definitely not because of God…The way we decide is based on our values which relies heavily on our faith…We give importance to something because we believe that giving premium to that thing will be for what is good…Thus if we believe that something is good, then we give value to it…If such is the case, wouldn’t it always be nice if we always long for what is beneficial for all and not just for ourselves so that we can always arrive at the right decision? So if we are tempted, let us think of what is good for all, then surely we will know what to do…But in case we still are confused, don’t worry because God cares so much that He will still guide us through…1 Corinthians 10:13 tells us ”No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”Have a great Tuesday, always be safe in all that you do, take good care of your health…Press on for what is right…Press on for what is good for all!
