To help ensure the health and safety of poultry in the municipality, the Department of Agriculture RFO-X, together with the Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO), in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Tubod through the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), conducted blood sampling on poultry on March 12, 2026.

The activity covered chickens, ducks, and turkeys from Barangay San Antonio, Barangay Pualas, and Barangay Camp 5. The collected samples will be used to check the health status of the poultry and help detect possible diseases early.

Through activities like this, the concerned agencies continue to support local poultry raisers by promoting proper monitoring and disease prevention. This initiative also reflects the shared commitment of government agencies and the community to maintain healthy poultry production and protect the livelihood of local farmers.

The Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO), in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Tubod and the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), will conduct a Veterinary Medical Mission (Deworming and Vitamin Supplementation) for large and small ruminants (cattle, carabao, horse, and goat) on the following dates:

February 26, 2026 โ€“ Barangay San Antonio and Barangay Tubaran
February 27, 2026 โ€“ Barangay Sto. Niรฑo and Barangay Licapao

All livestock raisers in the mentioned barangays are encouraged to bring their animals to the designated area on the scheduled date.

For more information, please coordinate with your Barangay Officials or the Municipal Agriculture Office.

The Department of Agriculture โ€“ Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI) is now accepting applications for Youth Interns and Partners under the 2026 Mentoring and Attracting Youth in Agribusiness (MAYA) Internship Program!

Choose your track:
โ— Entrepreneurship Track โ€“ Partner with top-tier agri-enterprises and gain the skills to build your own venture.
โ— Employment Track โ€“ Experience hands-on learning within agriculture-related agencies.
This six-month internship program will capacitate the youth through mentorship, orientation, basic skills training, and 20 weeks of on-site internship.
