It has been nearly three months since we implemented the use of eco-bags, paper bags, and other alternative packaging materials, in compliance with the Municipal Ordinance of Virac.

We are pleased to announce that this initiative has made significant progress in educating the public, fostering care for our environment, and promoting valued environmental sustainability. 😍

This marks the beginning of a collective realization to adopt sustainable practices that aim to improve the quality of life for every individual in the Happy Island of Catanduanes.✨️😉

We take great pride in recognizing all establishments that support this global advocacy — particularly in upholding the 2013 Municipal Ordinance of Virac, which seeks to minimize the use of plastic and styrofoam. ♻️

In celebration of Labor Day, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) YAKAP Program conducted a free orientation, consultation, and enrollment activity for members and beneficiaries across various industry sectors.

In support of this initiative, we facilitated the participation of 10 attendees in the event. This activity aligns with the spirit of today’s Labor Day celebration held on May 1, 2026 at VTC Metrowalk, Virac, Catanduanes.

We took part in the ECC Orientation and PTIPC Re-organization conducted by DOLE Catanduanes Provincial Office last April 29, 2026 at E-Crown Hotel and Resort, San Vicente, Virac, Catanduanes.

The activity aimed to raise awareness on the benefits and services provided by the ECC, as well as to reorganize the Tripartite Industrial Peace Council to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders.

Representatives from different sectors were designated to serve as members of the council:

This activity was conducted as part of the Capacity Building Program on Freedom of Association (FOA) for the labor sector, held at the E-crown Hotel and Resort.

The Bicol Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Convention 2026 was successfully held on April 28 and 29 at the Legazpi City Convention Center.

Participating in this regional convention has been a significant opportunity. The event centers on promoting and ensuring the safety and well-being of workers across various work environments.
