POV: When your best friend spills the tea 👀

Thanks to 14 vertebrae in their necks (double the amount most birds have), owls can turn their heads up to 135 degrees in either direction without moving their body! A particularly handy trait when scouring for any nearby threats.

I love watching these birds glide through the water. This one came so close, I could hear its beak slice right through the surface. Who knew watching birds could be so much fun! Incredible creatures. Shot on the Nikon z8 with a 600mm Pf lens.
