should be renamed Emma’s Delicious Alternatives - one bite of any of her products is enough to make you fall in love.
I had the pleasure of trying Emma’s recent savory introductions - Broccoli bites with the Dillicious Dip! These were delish, and the dip made it more pleasing to taste with the added coolness of the tangy, silky, salted yogurt.
I liked that, though these broccoli bites are made using oats and egg (so nutritious), I couldn’t discern any displeasing taste or textures, which goes to show how well these are made! These beauties come fully cooked and frozen - I warmed mine in the microwave (because I’m impatient), but they would be yummier warm and crispy with a quick shallow fry.
I feel these Broccoli bites made an excellent side to my meal, and were a great way to incorporate vegetables without feeling that i was eating desi-style sabzi.
They’re a very unusual market offering at par with products we find in supermarkets abroad - I’ve never seen anything like these here in Karachi before. It’s such a pleasure to get the feeling of enjoying premium, innovative and freshly, hygienically prepared local products which taste good and are so healthy.
I also love attention to detail - the packing is top notch, and I love the peekaboo effect of the plastic box, showing the delicious goodies inside. The branded sleeve is eye catching, and really highlights in great detail all the product information - from calories to ingredients, from presentation styles to perfect pairings.
All in all, Broccoli Bites feel like a very indulgent treat to have; the serving is just the right size for one, or as a romantic way to share for two. If I was making something yummy at home, I feel adding these broccoli bites to the dish/plate is a great way to add value and flavor. I can see these becoming a staple in our household.
