as, is the most popular fruit within the country as well as abroad. The mangoes from Mirpurkhas are well known all over the world for its quality traits due to its geographical positioning. As mangoes are renowned as “King of the fruits” correspondingly Sindhri is known to be “The king of Mango”. It is also the national fruit of our country because these mangoes are on peak in Pakistan. Sindhri was named by Din Muhammad Junejo he was the father of late Prime Minister Muhammad Khan Junejo. Din Muhammad Junejo brought Sindhri from Bombay and then cultivated in Sindhri. Sindhri mangoes come from the land called Mehran and so it reflects the manifestation of the people that sow it and take good care of it and pluck them off trees. These mangoes are wrapped in hay shreds till they become vibrant yellow from green. It is commonly said that “The hotter the summer the sweeter the Sindhri”. It is the famous variety of Pakistan and has the most exceptional taste among all the mangoes of the world. If someone tries it once they end up yearning for more. A Sindhri mango does not contain irritating fibers. It can be eaten in so many forms one can cube it, slice it or just blend it to enjoy its deliciousness.
