Total area planted was 460 acres and the total yield of Rhodes grass hay is expected around 575 metric tons.
High quality of lush green hay with more foliage and less stems. Very well naturally sun-dried with moisture less than 12%, which ensures mold free containerized shipping to any destination around the globe.
Rhodes grass hay, when fresh smelling, is a highly palatable source of up to 16% crude Protein, high crude fiber, high digestibility and, most of all, pocket friendly. Horses love it. Equally good for large or small ruminants, other cattle and herbivore pets like rabbits, . turtles, deers, camels, goats and sheep.
Besides it's use in equine, dairy and meat producing units it is also very good for use as substrate for the mushroom producing farms. It decomposes very fast while it's higher crude Protein contents help the mycelia to develop into high quality mushrooms.
It has long fiber and less lignin which makes it ideal for converting it into high quality pulp for making paper, cardboard and high quality disposable packaging, utensils, cutlery and drinking straws that decompose very fast after the disposal.
