🎉🐾 HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY TO OUR FARM MANAGER, BALOO! 🐾🎂

Today we are celebrating the one and only Baloo — our head of security, professional stick collector, river-swimming specialist and full-time supervisor of absolutely everything that happens on the farm. 😂

The farm animals have pulled together for a BIG birthday party! 🎈🎂

🐑 The sheep are bringing the drama.
🦆 The ducks are causing chaos.
🐓 The chickens are providing the background noise.
🐈 The cat is pretending she wasn’t invited.
🎂 And Baloo is obviously in charge of the cake department.

There are balloons, cake, cuddles and probably a few muddy paws involved. Because honestly, no one throws a farm party quite like Baloo! 🥳🐾

Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! You may not actually manage the farm… but you certainly manage us! 😂❤️

Here’s to another year of adventures, swimming, toys, treats and keeping all your farm employees in line!

🩺 THE CASE OF THE CANINE TOY CRISIS 🩺

We have multiple critical casualties arriving at the hospital today. The surgical team is currently working around the clock to perform emergency procedures including complex stitching, re-insertion of vital organs, reconstructive surgery and several emergency craniotomies. 🏥🩺💀

A concerned member of the public arrived with the patients in a state of absolute panic, insisting that “someone needs to save them!” 🥺

The sheep, ducks and chickens have all been interviewed as witnesses and brought forward vital evidence for the case. Unfortunately, their statements were somewhat difficult to interpret, involving a lot of baaing, quacking and clucking, but they all appear to agree that the suspect was seen near the scene of the crime. 🐑🦆🐔

We have reason to believe that the concerned member of the public is, in fact, the PRIMARY SUSPECT. 👀🐶

She has been placed in the waiting room while her victims undergo surgery and is currently pacing, looking extremely concerned about their condition.

The patients include:
🦒One giraffe with significant head trauma
🦆 One duckrequiring extensive reconstructive surgery
🦴 Several toys missing essential body parts
💀 At least one patient whose internal organs are currently… somewhere.

The suspect maintains that she “found them like this.”

The medical team remains unconvinced. 😂

Further updates to follow once we’ve located the missing eyeballs, stitched everyone back together and completed the craniotomy.

Prayers for the victims. Justice for the toys. And perhaps an arrest warrant for the dog. 🐶🚨🩺

🎃 Nicole’s Pumpkin Harvest! 🎃

Nicole was thrilled to finally harvest her beautiful Red Kuri pumpkins today… until Farmer Devon said, “Not so fast!” 😂

Apparently, they need a couple more days to harden before they’re ready to eat.

Nicole is less than impressed. 😒🎃 She had already planned her evening around pumpkin fritters, but it seems the pumpkins have decided otherwise! 😂

🐾 ASSISTANT INSPECTOR CAUGHT SLEEPING ON THE JOB! 😴☀️

Our assistant inspector has been caught red-pawed taking an unscheduled nap during working hours! 😂

In her defence… this Portuguese heat is no joke! 🥵🐱 Someone has to supervise the farm from the shade. 😉

We’ll be having a serious meeting about her work ethic once she wakes up… 😂🌾

🌽 SWEET CORN — SOLD OUT! 🌽🎉

Well… that’s a-maize-ing! 😂🌽 Our sweet corn is officially cornpletely sold out! 🥳

We are absolutely blown away by the support we have received this season! 🥹❤️

This was our first time growing sweet corn, and we feel so incredibly blessed that it turned out to be such a successful crop. 🌱🌽

We are officially ALL SOLD OUT, and the final packages were sent out today! 📦🌽

What a great season we have had! From planting those tiny seeds to harvesting, packing and sending our corn off to your homes, it has been such a rewarding experience. 🥰

And it’s all thanks to YOU! To our wonderful customers, friends, old and new — thank you for supporting our little farm and making our first sweet corn season such a special one. 🙏❤️

And just like that… our Gem Squash season has come to an end! 💚

🎃 Pumpkin day has FINALLY arrived! 🎃😂

Nicole has been keeping a very close eye on this pumpkin… checking it, admiring it, scratching it and asking approximately 47 times, “Is it ready yet?” 😂

Well, today we can officially say…

YES, NICOLE. IT’S READY! 🙌🎃

Needless to say, she was VERY excited to finally harvest her pumpkin. There’s something pretty special about watching something grow from a tiny seed into a beautiful pumpkin — even if you spend half the season impatiently waiting for it to turn orange! 😂🌱

We’re busy picking today’s sweet corn, getting it straight out of the field and ready to head off to its new homes this afternoon.

Our maize field has been keeping us VERY busy lately… but we’re not complaining! 😂🌽
