Vilken fantastisk kväll det blev – fylld av härlig stämning, fantastiska möten och massor av lokalt engagemang. Det är verkligen så roligt att se hur mycket liv och rörelse det blir när vi samlas kring det närproducerade och handgjorda.

🌍 Where do you come from & what is your (educational) background ?

I’m Swedish and currently studying for an MSc in Agroecology at SLU Alnarp.

👩‍🌾 What is your position at Alnarps Agroecology Farm ?

I’m a spring-semester intern and a year‑round enthusiast.

🍀 What does Agroecology mean to you ?
⁠
Agroecology means resistance to the inequity and monoculture driven by extractive global markets and large agribusiness. It’s about caring for the soil, the people, and all living beings.

📝 What is one of the learnings you had on the farm ?

I’ve learned to listen to the weeds. They hold site-specific knowledge—about local growing conditions, past land use, and what the soil needs.

🌱 What is your favorite plant to grow ?

🌍 Where do you come from & what is your (educational) background ?
I am from Indonesia and currently I am an Agroecology student at SLU.

🛠️ What is your position at Alnarps Agroecology Farm ?
I am an intern!

🌱 What does Agroecology mean to you ?
⁠To me, Agroecology is not just a way of farming, it is a way of living. It connects many of the things that are essential for our lives, such as food, soil, water, animals, economies, social movements, communities, and even policies.

📝 What is one of the learnings you had on the farm ?
I came here thinking rabbits were cute. I still think they’re cute, but now I know better. 😂

🌶️ What is your favorite plant to grow ?
⁠Dill ’Bob’. Well, because it sounds funny haha, Dill bob HAHAHA.

To meeting Jörgen at , a cook whose creativity elevates even the humblest ingredients into something rich and extraordinary
It was truly moving to see the vegetables we grow transformed into beautiful creations with his magical touch✨
They were no longer just vegetables, they carried our love for nature and community

🌍 Where do you come from & what is your (educational) background ?
I’m from Italy and currently I’m attending my third and last year of my Bachelor degree in Gastronomy

👩‍🌾 What is your position at Alnarps Agroecology Farm ?
⁠I’m an intern

🍀 What does Agroecology mean to you ?
⁠I first heard about Agroecology last year thanks to one of my professors at Uni. I wanted to know more about it and I applied for an internship in the field. I really love the principles of Agroecology both in theory and practice and I think that it can widen our own way of thinking and seeing things

📝 What is one of the learnings you had on the farm ?
⁠It’s important to listen to yourself and sometimes you can take things slowly

🌱 What is your favorite plant to grow ?
⁠I love garlic 🧄 (also it’s the only thing I sowed)

🌈 Anything else to add ?:)
