Raw food has been having a moment in the culinary world for a while now. And with good reason. It’s good for you, it tastes incredible when done right and it’s incredibly Instagrammable (if you’re into that sort of thing). But there is something to be said about restaurants that ride trends and ones that create out of passion and skill and just so happen to get highlighted because of a trend. The latter is where you’ll find The Raw Kitchen. Modestly decorated and welcoming, the interior is a calming vibe needed from the busy walking street parallel to Brogatan.

The menu at The Raw Kitchen is thoughtfully curated and includes one of our favourite takes on a classic - the raw pizza. It’s a sigh of relief for your conscience and a flavour bomb for your mouth. That’s a win-win right? The real star here though is the vegan cheese. Yes, we said vegan cheese. This is no ordinary cheese though. The chef here has created something truly unique and exquisite. The umami and intense flavour that you get from dairy-based cheese is every bit equally represented in the Cashuery cheeses available at The Raw Kitchen. You’ll find a range of flavours like black garlic, camembert, gräslök & citron, bruschetta and Mediterranean spices. We’ve tried them all and we’re polyamorous for this cheese - we can’t choose just one and we love them all equally. There is also a great selection of desserts making The Raw Kitchen a perfect place to grab a meal or just pick up supplies for a picnic or fika.
