Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun.

We are deeply saddened by the demise of al-Fadil Ustadh Hj Ali Bin Haji Mohamed, Chairman of Masjid Khadijah. He led the Mosque through its growth and expansion, and also helmed the Religious Rehabilitation Group (RRG). He's received various awards and commendations for his contributions to the society and religion in various facets including at the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) and Pergas. He was master of the Tasawwuf sciences and led the Qadiri Naqshbandi Sufi Order in Singapore (under Abah Anom Indonesia).

His demise will certainly leave a huge void in the Malay Muslim society and the nation.

Our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. We pray that Allah The Beneficent The Merciful will shower His Divine Mercy upon his soul and raise with none other than His Beloved, Sayyidina Muhammad, Allah's Peace and Blessings be upon him, his family and companions. Bismillah, for the 16th year running, SimplyIslam.sg is happy to continue its annual Ramadan project, where we provide food and financial help to over 450 needy families in Singapore in time for Eid al-Fitr.

Alhamdulillah! JazakAllahu khair, thanks to the support of over 2,300 generous individuals, we managed to raise over $150,000 at last year’s Ramadan Charity Basket. This meant that more than 450 families have benefited from the generous donations made last Ramadan. Our sincere gratitude goes out to everyone who supported this project in kind or form last year.

May Allah Almighty bless all of you who helped make the Ramadan Charity Basket 2022 a success! Let us all come together once again this year and help ease hardships and bring happiness into the lives of the poor, sick, and suffering this coming Ramadan and Eid.
