Autumn has arrived at the good loaf!

Our newest creation brings together real pumpkin purée, roasted pecans, a touch of honey and warming pumpkin pie spices.

Naturally fermented over two days for a beautifully soft, moist golden crumb, with a gentle sweetness, buttery pecan crunch and a hint of cinnamon, ginger, cloves and nutmeg.

Perfect toasted with butter, enjoyed with your morning coffee or turned into delicious French toast! 🍁

The starter is fed, active and already getting to work.

Over the next few hours, it will more than double in size. From there, the real work begins — around two days of mixing, stretching & folding, shaping and slow fermentation, before 20+ breads are finally baked fresh on pickup & delivery day.

This week: a proper mix of our various sourdough loaves and focaccias.

No shortcuts. Just flour, water, salt, time, a very busy starter… and strong hands. 💪😏
