Cancer is something none of us would ever wish upon anyone, and yet it has touched so many lives around us. Most of us, in one way or another, would have walked this journey with someone we know — a parent, family member, friend, colleague, or acquaintance.

For the second year in a row, I will be joining 19 other mumpreneurs in as we work towards clocking 400km collectively through runs, walks, and hikes, in hopes of raising $𝟰𝟬𝟬𝟬 for the NCCS Cancer Research Fund through .

This cause is deeply personal to me. I have had many loved ones battle cancer. Some have overcome it, some are still fighting, and some have left us far too soon.

This is my little way of showing up for them and for anyone walking this difficult road, whether as a warrior or as the support through the difficult journey.

Our pots are bubbling, aprons are on, and we’re getting back into the rhythm after our December break 😌

From 𝟭 𝗝𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, we will cease using chicken stock as a base for our porridge and instead enhancing our recipes to include more ingredients - more proteins and more vegetables. All orders will be fulfilled with our enhanced porridge recipes that are nourishing for baby and fuss free for you.

This change means that we are able to support more families, including 𝙫𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨 and 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙤𝙮 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨, while keeping the same promise you trust us for: wholesome ingredients and absolutely no nasties! Being able to support as many families as possible has been our goal since the beginning of our journey and we are really excited about this change 😊

Big milestone alert! My son just finished his PSLE 🥳 After months of revision, tackling endless past year papers, providing him with comfort snacks, loads of n̶a̶g̶g̶i̶n̶g̶ encouragment and s̶c̶o̶l̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ pep talks 😅, this mama is clocking out for a well-deserved break!

Little Fig Foods kitchen will be closed from 𝟳 𝗗𝗲𝗰 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝘁𝗼 𝟮 𝗝𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 while we recharge and soak up some family time before the new year begins.

𝙉𝙤 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚, 𝙣𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖... 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 ❤️

Running has always been a challenge for me. I huff and puff just after 30 seconds 😮‍💨! And to be honest, I have not been able to carve out time to exercise at all these recent weeks, caught between a machine breakdown, being available for my family, especially my daughter with a fractured wrist, my son who's taking PSLE soon and trying my best to fulfill every lovely customer's order as soon as possible.

But this month, I am setting time aside to join 29 other incredible mumpreneurs in Mumpreneurs Run for Good, where we will work towards clocking in a total of 60km collectively in hope to raise SGD6,000 for cancer research and patient care at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, through .

This cause is close to my heart. So many loved ones have battled cancer. Some have overcome it, some are still fighting, and some have fought bravely till the end. What they all shared: resilience, strength, and the will to keep going. So what’s a little huffing and puffing, if it means showing up - for them, for ourselves, and for anyone else who may be struggling too?
