Fatty Aunt Yong Tau Foo dates back to the 1980s, starting from a humble roadside stall at a bus terminal many may have almost forgotten. If you remember that place, congratulations — you’re definitely not that young anymore 😁! That place was the famous Si Kak Ting 65/195 Bus Terminal. Remember it?

Back then, Fatty Aunt sold simple favourites like Malay Lontong, Mee Siam and fried bee hoon, while Yong Tau Foo was only served as a side accompaniment. Who would have imagined that today, Yong Tau Foo would become her signature specialty!
