A little story of my life I want to share here.....

I started to pick up Peranakan cooking when my mum was alive (almost 20 years ago), helping her in the kitchen as she could not stand in the kitchen for too long due to her rheumatism. I must say it was a wise decision! Now that she is not with the family, I can still continue to cook her dishes the way she like them. In the past few m

onths, I decided to pick it up again as I have always enjoyed cooking and entertaining at home. Hence I have posted pictures of some of the food I prepared onto this page. I have named it "Dapur Mak Man Chung", after my mum's nickname (Man Chung) or Mom's Kitchen and dedicate it to her. It is my way to thank her for her patience and allowing me to learn.
