*I take a contrary view on the heroic welcome of LAJ as skewed by many.*
The LAJ I know and what appears to the reformed LAJ deserve an accolade.
Being incarcerated is not much of a punishment but a refinement hence called “Correctional Facility or Centre”.
While there,LAJ championed social ills like Kush intake which Government is taking donkey years to address.
Above all coupled with his comportment, LAJ was the first Prisoner among over 2000 who was set free but chose to hand himself over while thousands are still on the run 🏃♀️.
Does he not deserve an heroic welcome?
In fact Government may decide to use him campaign against violence and social ills since like Kao, he has huge influence among youths mostly those who wallow in the frenzy of kush.
Blame Not Government or Top Government officials, Prison is to make good bad people who would return to society after serving their terms or pardoned.
