*THE TURAY CLAN 18TH GENERAL MEETING PLANNING TEAM ENDS A SUCCESSFUL TOUR IN ALL THE TURAY CLAN SETTLEMENTS*
In order to ensure a successful meeting this year, the organising team has ended a successfully tour in all the Turay Clan 12 settlement last week From *28th/03/26 to 2nd/04/26.*
The main purpose of the tour is to update settlement members about the clan finance status, restructure Settlement leadership, settle settlement disputes and disatifactions and informed settlement members about the upcoming Turay Clan 18th General meeting.
We have successfully succeeded to update clan members on the clan Finance status, settled different Clan members disputes and disatifactions, select three active settlement Leaders in all the settlement that don't have active leaders (i. e Settlement Elder, Women's Leader and Young generation Leader)
The tour ends with a successful General Planning meeting that brings together all the settlement Leaders on the 2nd April, 2026, hosted by the current Clan Chairman (Sheik Foday mama Turay) at Ro-Thentha settlement.
The main purpose of the planning meeting is to plan the 18th General meeting of the Turay Clan Of Masungbala and the following was our key action points:
1. We agreed to hold the 18th General meeting *on Friday the 24th April, 2026 at Layah settlement*
2. The council of Elders Meeting will be held on *Thursday the 23rd April, 2026 at Bankrr settlement.*
3. We also agreed that each settlement will contribute minimum of NLe1,000
4. We have also agreed to counsel the meeting refreshment contributions support, now the host settlement will fully responsible for the meeting refreshment.
5. As usual, everybody should contribute to the settlement he/she belongs where you are at home or abroad.
6. We deeply advise settlement Leaders to inform all the settlement members about the upcoming 18th General meeting of the Turay Clan and to come along with cultural performance.
