Over 40+ attendees listened intently, feverishly engaged and participated whole-heartedly with the guidance of the superb speaker!

Happy International Women in Engineering Day!
👷🏾‍♀️
This is me just before I was about to board the helicopter (I always snoozed 😴 on that ride) to the TSP field, offshore Trinidad and Tobago. It is mandatory that we complete a Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training before heading offshore to the platform. (*I totally hated that training🤧🤢. Simulated helicopter crash: dunking you in a pool, flipping you and then telling you to exit from the window nearby your seat, ohhh please, after losing your bearings! Really!! Anyway, I survived all the trainings and renewals, thank god!*)

What I enjoyed most about working offshore in the Oil and Gas Energy industry, were the people, they treat you like family, no matter what! (*sometimes the snacks😏*) And off course my oneness with the ocean🌊 and nature. Oh and when it rains offshore, its nothing like on land🌧🌈.

Engineering is fun and I won't change anything about my experience thus far in the industry! Since COVID-19, it has been different for me and I am looking for new opportunities, always.
