章魚小丸子，又名章魚燒，日文たこやき
在日本已有70多年的歷史，是日本民間一種流傳很久的風味小吃，據說章魚燒最早出於大阪的章魚燒丸專營店會津屋的創始人遠藤留吉之手。遠藤留吉起初將肉、魔芋等加入調開的小麥粉麵糊里煎燒後放在食攤上賣。後來，1935年時，遠藤留吉開始使用章魚作為原材料，並在麵糊里調入味道，煎燒出的章魚燒丸大受人們的歡迎。因每顆章魚丸里都有鮮章魚肉，其味鮮而香，營養成分十分豐富，廣受消費者的青睞，故得其名為章魚小丸子，又名為章魚燒，很快，章魚小丸子從大阪被推廣到日本全國。
