「舊李合興蜜餞 」在經歷百年的薪傳，已是家喻戶曉的老字號蜜餞店，李老闆表示，台灣早期的水果未經改良，味道較酸，因此李家就依各種水果的口味性，再搭配高貴的中藥材「青花桂」加工做蜜餞；儘管「青花桂」比一般肉桂來的昂貴，但其藥性比肉桂溫和顧胃，舊李合興蜜餞以此為主料，佐以精緻純糖、獨特的漢方做調配，再視不同水果的特性加上冬歸、人參、八角、甘草、甘杞 等數十種珍貴中藥材，使做出來的蜜餞散發出淡淡的中藥清芳，口感好、且不傷胃。
