農曆年前，各行各業都忙碌衝刺，
希望能把握每個工作日，
把手上的任務完成一個階段，
好好迎接 9 天的年假🌿
台東農場也不例外💪
年前我們加緊腳步，
用東歐的有機腐質土，種下今年的幼苗，
一起迎接春天的到來。

✨今年幼苗清單如下：
香桂、月桂、土肉桂、香蜂草、天竺葵、迷迭香、甜馬鬱蘭、奧勒岡（牛至）、百里香、甜羅勒、羅勒、艾草、積雪草、薰衣草、黃荊。
接著和大家分享有趣的小故事🥰
大家覺得今年農場播種的這些香草植物裡，哪一種最難「喚醒」呢？
一般我們想像的程序是：
🌰播種 → 💧澆水 → 🌱發芽
對吧？
但有些種子呀，真的像小孩一樣，有自己的小脾氣（笑）。
💜 薰衣草的種子就像一個貪睡的小女孩，
想叫醒她，可不能太急～
需要先冷藏、再泡溫水（泉），
才有辦法把她「熱醒」，
願意乖乖開始發芽。
是不是也因為這樣，薰衣草精油才總是能讓大家
好好睡一覺呢？😴💤
🌿 黃荊（台灣貞潔樹）則像是一個把自己保護得很好的小女孩，
它的種子外面有一層蠟質外衣，
所以得更有耐心才行。
必須經過冷藏、泡冷水（泉），
而且還要加一點點醋，做成「微酸冷泉」
才有機會成功喚醒它喔！
是不是很有趣啊✨

Ahead of the New Year, we’ve been picking up the pace, using organic humus soil from Eastern Europe to plant this year’s seedlings, welcoming the arrival of spring together.

FragrantCinnamon, Bay Laurel, Indigenous Cinnamon, Melissa, Rose Geranium, Rosemary, Sweet Marjoram, Oregano, Thyme, Sweet Basil, Basil, Mugwort, Gotu Kola, Lavender, Vitex.
Now let me share an interesting little story with you 🥰
Among all these herbs we’re planting at the farm this year, which one do you think is the hardest to “awaken”?
Generally, we imagine the process to be:
🌰 Sow seeds → 💧 Water → 🌱 Sprout
Right?
But some seeds, really, are just like children with their own little personalities (and tempers!).
💜 Lavender seeds are like a sleepy little girl—
if you want to wake her up, you can’t be too hasty~
They need to be refrigerated first, then soaked in warm water (spring water), before you can “warm her awake,” and she’ll obediently start to sprout.
Perhaps this is why lavender essential oil always helps everyone
get a good night’s sleep? 😴💤
🌿 Vitex is like a little girl who protects herself very well—its seeds have a waxy outer coating, so you need even more patience.
They must go through refrigeration, soaking in cold water (spring water), and you even need to add a little bit of vinegar to make a “slightly acidic cold spring” to have a chance of successfully awakening it!
Isn’t that fascinating? ✨
