Rabbi Shimon Aziza, Rabbi of Tanzania, met yesterday with Mrs. Regina MakenzeMikenze, the newly elected Member of Parliament for the Geita region.
Also present at the meeting was her husband, businessman Mr. Daniel Mikenze.
Together they discussed strengthening cooperation and deepening the connection with the Jewish community in Tanzania. They offered prayers of gratitude to the Almighty for the privilege of serving the public and pledged to continue working for the benefit and wellbeing of the people of Tanzania.

It was a great honor and pleasure to meet with Ambassador Mr. Michael A. Battle, and personally extend my heartfelt blessings for a sweet and prosperous New Year as we approach the beginning of the Jewish calendar.

During our conversation, we spoke about the profound importance of religious freedom and the spirit of unity that exists between different faiths in Tanzania. We reflected on how this solidarity can serve as a foundation for a brighter future, where the values of liberty, tolerance, and mutual respect can flourish.

Ambassador, I want to take this opportunity to wish you continued success in all your endeavors, and may your important work for the people of Tanzania be blessed with strength and perseverance.

May the coming year bring peace, unity, and harmony to the world, and may we continue to work together for the well-being of all.
