🚀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻!

Under the (Youth Empowerment and Participation in Policy and Advocacy) project, TUNADO in partnership with Trias East Africa is currently conducting a capacity needs assessment with host businesses under the apprenticeship scheme.

This critical exercise is helping us better understand how to support these businesses in delivering high-quality, inclusive, and sustainable training to Uganda’s youth in the districts of Zombo, Nebbi and Madi-Okollo. By identifying gaps and opportunities, we can tailor our interventions to ensure that both the apprentices and their mentors thrive.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲-𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗼𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿.

Through the apprenticeship model, youth are acquiring hands-on, market-relevant skills that enhance their employability and entrepreneurial potential.

Today marked a significant milestone as we officially delivered the Youth Manifesto to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

This document is not just a reflection of youth voices—it is a bold declaration of the priorities, aspirations, and solutions that young people envision for our country’s future. 🇺🇬✨

A huge thank you to AYDL for their leadership and coordination throughout this process. Your commitment to youth advocacy continues to inspire and mobilize action across the country.

Gratitude also goes to UNYFA, one of our implementing partners for playing a pivotal role in the development of the manifesto. Your input, especially around youth in agriculture and rural development, brought depth and relevance to the document.

This is just the beginning. The real work starts now—translating this manifesto into action.
